We love books, but we also love our planet. Therefore, it has been important to us to establish clear and repeatable ways to support the preservation of our natural environment. By looking for ways to Carbon balance our print helps combat global warming and also deliver against our social and commercial responsibilities. Our print choices have therefore felt quite simple, and enable us to reduce the carbon impact of our printed books. We do this by quantifying the amount of CO2 required and work with initiatives that ensure we can restore and balance what we use. Find out more about the ways that we restore and re-balance.
Carbon reduction strategy
As a growing business we continue to evolve our Carbon Reduction Strategy and consider all aspects of our supply chain. With a goal to become net zero by 2025, we work closely with like minded organisations to consider the following:
Forest Carbon
Our printers purchase paper, cardboard and packaging materials from suppliers that offer carbon balanced products through their own carbon offset schemes. These choices ensure that everything sourced is off with more trees planted.
Transportation
Printers to our Book Dispatching Office - Our deliveries are fulfilled using a zero-carbon delivery company who comply with carbon emission standards.
Books to customers - Your orders are fulfilled using EVRI who have one of the lowest carbon emissions of any dedicated parcel delivery company in the UK. Find out more about their ESG Policy and pledge to become net-zero for direct and indirect emissions.
